Abstract
With the gradual increase in cosmetics consumption and the popularity of the mobile Internet,
mobile beauty applications serving cosmetic users have developed rapidly. “Beauty Mate" is an
interesting team, also a fun App demo. We built up a platform both in App and WeChat official
account for skincare service that helps the customers to select skincare products that are actually
suitable for them based on the questionnaire, price range and, ingredient information, so that the
problem and question of skincare can be solved directly and easily. We also offer a community
for users to share what they bought and reviews about one product to give a guidance for other
users.
Besides, we would add E-commerce function when the number of our users reaches a certain

amount. And for technology, the traditional algorithm is not suitable for UGC recommendation
system. For our App (a UGC recommendation system), we used an intelligent recommendation
system based on user clustering. And also a detailed business plan is proposed for our App.
