Abstract
This thesis aims to introduce the new product: multi-oil smart Aroma diffuser and the novel
method of operation behind the product. The product is a multi-oil smart aroma diffuser that can
accommodate up to three different essential oils to be automatically swapped. The aroma diffuser
is connected to the IoT system that allows the collection of data ranging from past usage history,
environmental data, and user demographics data. To aid users in enjoying the full benefit, and also
to provide extra convenience in scheduling different aroma oils for different times of the day, an
automatic scheduling and recommendation algorithm will be developed and implemented. The
