In the first part of he thesis: the exact solutions of the two-dimnensional unsteady Euler equations are derived using the group-theoretical method via the symbolic computer package written in Maple [l].
In the second part of the thesis, the Riemann problem of the two-dimensional unsteady Euler equations are investigated based on Generalized Lagrangian formulation.
