Abstract
Richard Seale engraved this detailed large-scale map on four sheets. It extends from Sumatra to Japan and includes good details of China and Southeast Asia. Based on the influential work of Jean-Baptiste d'Anville, it was later revised by Solomon Bolton. It appeared in Postlethwayt's "The Universal Dictionary of Trade and Commerce" (1751-1755).
