Abstract
A map of southern and southeastern Asia extending from the Horn of Aftica and Persian Gulf through India to the Malay Peninsula with the Great Bay (Sinus Magnus) and southern China beyond. The model and source for this map, was a prototype first published by Martin Waldseemuller in the 1513 eidtion of Ptolemy's Geography. A new plate was cut for the 1522 Gruninger edition of the work and was reissued in 1541.
