Abstract
From Vandermaelen's massive work, "Atlas Universel", published in Brussels in 1827, this map shows Hainan Island, Guangdong Province, and a detailed delineation of the Pearl River delta. Lintin, Lantau, and Lamma Islands are named in the map; Hong Kong Island is shown although not named.
