This thesis discusses the development of the anthologization of Du Fu's poetry in the Ming Period. Four Ming anthologies are selected for detailed study: Tangshi pinhui, Gujin shishan, Tangshi gui and Tangshi jing.
The first chapter is the introduction of the thesis. The second chapter is a survey of the different poetic schools as well as the anthologization of Du Fu's poetry in Ming.
The third, fourth, fifth and sixth chapters are the main parts of the thesis. In these chapters, each of the four anthologies, i.e., Tangshi pinhui by Gao Bing, Gujin shishan by Li Panlong, Tangshi gui by Zhong Xing and Tan Yuanchun, and Tangshi jing by Lu Shiyong, are explored comprehensively.
Lastly, the seventh chapter concluded all the findings of this research.
