Abstract
Nowadays, aerial surveying is widely used in various fields. However, in multiple application scenarios, UAVs(Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) with existing configuration cannot simultaneously meet the complex requirements of users, such as high efficiency, long endurance, deft maneuverability, good portability and wind-resistant performance. To solve the problem, this thesis proposes an aerial surveying system based on a quadrotor tail-sitter UAV, with emphasis on the analysis, design, configuration, optimization of this system.
This system mainly involves three submodules: UAV, surveying payload module and ground station. We optimized the UAV from various aspects in order to satisfy the high efficiency and stability, including powerplant, flight performance and avionics system. In addition,...[

In addition, a surveying payload module is developed for mapping task, which consists of a Raspberry Pi microcomputer, an RTK board and a camera. Ground station is also an important part of this system, since it provides user a friendly and convenient interface to configure the whole system, and it integrates RTK base station into itself to build a complete air-ground data link. Finally, based on multiple experiments of each sub-system, the endurance test and surveying experiment are conducted to verify the effectiveness of the system.
